What is the full arch implant treatment?
FULL ARCH IMPLANTS are a new dental procedure that allows you to get a completely new and long-term set of prosthetic teeth within a span of a few days. The fact that it only requires the placement of 4 titanium implants in each jaw to support a new set of teeth for the entire arch is notable!
Compared to conventional total oral rehabilitation methods, Full Arch takes less time, is less invasive, and is less painful overall for patients, with the same result. Since a full arch is a long-term replacement, it will look, feel and function similarly to your natural teeth. It will give you back a good smile and allow you to talk, bite and chew just like you did with your natural teeth.

It works around the bone loss problem by tilting the two posterior implants up to 45 degrees so that it can be properly supported by denser bones in the other parts of jaw or even the cheek bone. The remaining two anterior implants are inserted straight like a normal dental implant. This dental implant technique has proven to be very effective for tens of thousands of patients in different parts of the world. Overall, the procedure is less invasive compared to other more conventional methods and can even be performed using a local anaesthetic. It also can be completed within a span of a few days, which dramatically reduces the wait time for a new set of teeth.

Full arch treatment replaces all the teeth in the upper and/or lower dental arches with a fixed bridge that is supported by 4 titanium implants.
Full Arch is the best tooth replacement solution for people who are not considered to be good candidates for regular dental implants.
Full Arch is also a great solution for people who can’t wait several months up to a year to get a new set of teeth. Missing several teeth for long periods can have adverse effects on your quality of life, speech, appearance and overall health, among many other things.
Full Arch is also ideal for anyone looking for a long-term solution for their dental problems. It is more effective and more convenient than having to deal with dentures for the rest of your life.

All surgeries on this page are performed by Dr Robby Sehmi (Registration: DEN0001247925) and are published with consent from our patients. The before and after images are not guarantees that your result will be the same and will vary between patients. Any surgery or invasive procedure carries risks and recovery time. Before proceeding, please seek medical advice from a qualified medical practitioner.
Dr Sehmi will discuss and understand your concerns and do a careful initial evaluation to determine the best treatment plan for your dental condition. He will explain you the procedure and provide you with a customised treatment plan.
Once you decide to proceed with your treatment plan, your first appointment will be scheduled. The initial evaluation consists of a comprehensive examination and diagnostic imaging. With the help of a specific computer software program, a 3-dimensional image of your jaw is created. “Virtual implants” are placed in the 3D image to ensure accuracy at the time of your surgery. To facilitate the procedure and ensure quality, the fixed bridge is manufactured before the surgery.
Two weeks from your first appointment, you are now ready for a quick and simple surgery that is now possible with a minimum number of implants.
We know how important it is that you have teeth even after a surgery has just been done. This is why Dr Robby ensures that you have immediate temporary teeth that will make your everyday routine possible right away!
Visit Dr Sehmi one more time to get your long-term teeth, and you are all done! Enjoy your long-term smile with natural-looking and fully functional teeth so you can enjoy life and your favourite foods all the time!

After the implant surgery, most patients may experience mild discomfort. Since the anaesthetics will take some time to wear off, any initial pain or discomfort may not be noticeable initially. In the following days, there might be some instances of minor swelling or bleeding which is completely normal and tolerable even if you don’t take any painkillers or medication.
