Finesse Dental is the first dental practice in Sydney to acquire the new cutting-edge technology of “UV Activated Implants”.
UV-treated Ti (Titanium) implants are a distinct improvement when compared with untreated control implants, leading to rapid and complete healing of bone-to-implant contact. UV treatment of implant causes new bone formation without any soft-tissue intervening between the bone and implant and this implant-to-bone contact maximizes by 100% after 4 weeks. Therefore, UV treatment fastens the healing process without the risk of contamination.

We take pride in our facilities and are implementing our new UVC disinfectant machine which will help us to improve the disinfection process between patients at Finesse Dental.
UVC uses UV lights to thoroughly disinfect a room after treatment. UVC will help us to improve the disinfection process between patients. This type of UV light has the ability to disrupt the DNA structure of bacteria and viruses subsequently preventing it from replicating or further infecting. It kills common healthcare associated infection causes, including C.diff, MRSA, VRE, Acinetobacter and more.
During this time, Finesse Dental has taken it upon themselves to implement additional measures to help flatten the curve. Whilst we are still dedicated to delivering care to our patients, the safety of our patients and ourselves is our number one priority.
During treatment droplets and aerosols are produced by high-speed handpieces and ultrasonic scalers that we unfortunately can’t avoid. These aerosols and droplets contain bacterial and viral particles that can’t be seen with the naked eye.
Along with the use of the UVC UV light system, Finesse Dental have implemented the use of the Extra Oral Dental Suction System. With a medical grade filtration system, the Extraoral Dental Suction System removes these droplets and aerosols created, highly reducing the risk of infection to both the patient and dental practitioner.
